I do nto agree with the opinion, but he accidentally stumbles onto a hard truth: the enthusiasm about AI is truly the same nonsense that led charlatans to offer to be able to changed lead to gold, without really explaining all o this is supposed to work. Another aspect, is that they add math to it so it appears to be science.

2. It's just a probability engine

You get its best guess, based on your question and the AI's current algorithm and data at that time. Change any of it; get different results. That's it. As long as everyone understands that, it's fine. Many people don't seem to get that, and so many people are easily fooled and eventually harmed.
