they need to stop having right wing nutties on at all.. Leave them for Fox.. They have nothing of any consequence to add and only gobble airtime from the intelligent guests.. Or perhaps have a right wing-only show and watch the ratings dive to the cellar

"Morning Joe" is a talk show hosted by a former Republican Congressman AND a far more liberal co-host, Mica Brzeinski. The show brings in a variety of talkers (Democratic, Republican, and NBC news reporters) to opine on current events and in my opinion ends up with a fairly balanced and civilized (no "McLaughlin Group"-style arguing) discussion. However, you'll find a number of people here who feel that the Democrats aren't "liberal enough", or that the news people are "too mainstream". They'll complain and then keep watching...

He was allowed to make his case uninterrupted for about 5 minutes. As soon as Ed Rendell was given a chance to speak truth to his lies he interrupts! Typical Rethug tactic. Don't allow the truth to be heard.

You're right that he was made to look like a fool when all of his lies were refuted.

You should have heard David Gregory, Tom Brokaw, and their buddies last night. It's all Dems fault because they keep resisting change to SS and Medicare. The Seniors and AARP want to bankrupt their kids and have no shame about it(That was Brokaw). They said it wasn't going to effect anybody but people like them because all they were talking about was means testing and anything else was deliberately misleading etc, etc. All of them agreeing that SS is adding to the debt, when its not. I was screaming at the set about what a bunch of ignorant assholes they were. My sister got mad at me and left the room.

I thought I was watching Fox.

I hope Current doesn't go away because at least with this group, MSNBC is no friend to Democrats.

The only ones I can stomach on there is Rachel and Rev Al.

I agree with your assessment. All of these 1 percenters talking about how the rest of us are just moochers. ALL of it repub talking points.

I think it was brokaw who said he shouldn't have the same Medicare as everyone else since he makes so much money. Here's my response: Fine, Tom, but we have a social contract around Medicare so let's just tax you a helluva lot more, close those loopholes that make the rich richer and re-instate the Estate Tax at the highest level possible.

THEN, and only THEN, we'll talk...

be giving these losers a lot of say these days. He has nothing of importance, that I want to hear but she just keep trotting those losers out there. Maybe she needs a new job too? Put someone of importance on the show instead of these losers with their drumbeat about cutting Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid. These people don't understand no when they hear it. We want them to cut the military and raise taxes on the rich. That means Mika, we want you to pay your taxes. That means Ed Rendell too and Dan Senor. Pay your dam taxes. We are not cutting the benefits for the poor or middle class. The country has spoken.

I'm waiting for 2014, when we get to speak again. I'm tired of listening to these people whine about the fiscal cliff and cutting entitlements. I think the only cutting this country needs is to get rid of people like Coburn for good. We need to cut the cancer out of Congress. I have survived up to now and think I will be able to til 2014. This Republican House needs to go period! It is the only way we are going to save this country.

Thousands of Americans and hundreds of thousands of Iraqis are dead because of Dan Senor and his incompetent cronies at the Coalition Provisional Authority. The fact that this guy can get on a television to discuss anything is a ringing indictment of our whole society.
