Voter suppression is job one for the GOP. They know they are headed for a thumping in the midterms and in 2028. Voter suppression is essential if the GOP is to maintain control.

This may be the bill that kills the filibuster.

From now on, it'll be mostly MAGA wives changing their names on marriage, because their husbands will insist on it. Ownership, you know, that sort of thing.

For conservative men who expect women to take their names, there's gonna be a surprise downside to this voting law.

if the GOP passes this voting security act. If men decide to hyphenate their names in solidarity, they'll be stuck with the same problem, but at least they'll share the misery.
