As a scientist, I have been saddened to see other scientists' names pop up in the Epstein files.

I know it can be difficult to get research support, particularly if, like Jack Horner, you do not have a PhD (I don't either), but still ...

We're not supposed to care. However, since Epstein was actively campaigning to rehabilitate his image while not his behavior...it's not great to show up on his donation list.

and not about sex/women, I don't think there's that great of cause to rake any such scientists over too hot a set of coals. I'd imagine many researchers are forced into securing grants from people and corporations they'd rather not pretty damn regularly.
