1. This is special. A response from the Republican Party:

Wednesday afternoon, the Wasatch County Republican Party Executive Committee issued a statement regarding the allegations against Johnson.

"The safety and well-being of children are of paramount importance to our party and our community. We are deeply concerned and troubled by the nature of the allegations brought forward by the Heber City Police Department. The Wasatch County GOP Executive Committee met in an emergency session. In accordance with our bylaws, Vice Chair Patty Sprunt will temporarily assume leadership to ensure the party continues its work for the residents of the county without interruption.

The Republican Party stands for the protection of the vulnerable and the upholding of the law," according to their statement. "Thus far, the public has not seen any evidence in this case. We encourage the community to refrain from judgment until the facts and evidence have been presented.

The Utah Democratic Party also issued a prepared statement calling for accountability if the allegations are proven.

From my chair, that's a tell advertising how bad it is; once reduced to the meritless outside a courtroom line, "I though we still believed innocent before guilty!!??" to mitigate negative criticism, the narrative's being barked at and rewritten by baiters and sealions.

6. (SARCASM) I could understand a good spanking for the young lady as good conservative men such as himself

love to spank their teenage daughters (remember Judge Adams?) and, sometimes wives as well, but this went TOO FAR. She could have been injured seriously or killed which would have removed a future baby factory and "helpmate" from society.

I understand that she's his property and all, but there must be limits to even necessary fatherly discipline. (SARCASM)
