TX-SEN: I think Fetterman's rooting for the Republicans.

Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) on Tuesday questioned why President Trump and other GOP lawmakers haven’t locked down the Texas Senate race with an endorsement in the three-way party primary.

Sen. John Cornyn (R-Texas), Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) and Rep. Wesley Hunt (R-Texas) are vying for Cornyn’s seat in the Senate. The frequently nasty battle between Paxton and Cornyn has left some Democrats thinking it could create an opening for their party in November, particularly if Paxton wins.

Fetterman said he thinks his party can regain the House but argued the battle to retake the Senate majority will be an uphill one during an appearance on Fox Business Network’s “Mornings with Maria.”..........

For me, like for Texas, for example, Cornyn is a reasonable Republican, and now that would be money in the bank. But now I don’t know why politically — I’m not sure why the Republicans and the president wouldn’t sit on that and just lock down Texas. But for me, there’s other states that are in flux,” he added.

as if his opinion matters a good deal, which maybe it does. Is he letting them know he's available?

His comments are considered more newsworthy as a Democrat than as a Republican.

Zell Miller was a nominal Democrat who voted with conservative Republicans more often than not. Fetterman, dubious remarks notwithstanding, is a dependable vote 90%+ of the time. And as far as I know, unlike Zell he hasn't challenged anyone to a duel in front of a live camera!

5. If we go out on a limb and stipulate that Cornyn is indeed a reasonable GQPer

Then that would be your answer, wouldn't it, JOHN?

Trump doesn't LIKE that kind

Posturing as a less-partisan centrist in a swing state that occasionally does not re-elect incumbent senators. His actual voting record generally coincides with other Democrats.

it's been decided he's more valuable as a "Democrat" firing inside the tent.

8. Why do we always have a turncoat, Manchin, Sinema, Fetterman, but Republicans stick with a sex trafficing, child rapist?

10. Fetterman definitely appears to have been drawn into the Republican version of reality

Not sure why. Maybe being buddies with members of the majority despite the lies, the cowardice and corruption was just too seductive with GOP members reaching out with affirmation.

I'm convinced I voted for the wrong Fetterman. I should have written in Gisele Fetterman.

We better hope we don’t come down to a divided senate where we need to depend on him. That’s Sinema/Manchin all over again.

12. been greatly dissappointed in some of Fetterman's (jarring and jumbled) moves and statements

But - just reading the text here ... I'm not at all sure I should be calling this one of those fumbles.
Isn't it kind of a legitimate question? Primarying - (from within the party establishment) a fairly safe seat? Isn't that a BIT unusual? And a point that's kinda' fair to make?

And, no ... I think one has to kind of stretch - in order to turn this into any sort of gushing endorsement of Cornyn.

He hasn’t done anything for the state of Texas.

Healthcare, nada
Housing, nada
Punishing pedophiles, nada

However, Cornyn knows how to sell Fear. Every campaign ad is about Fear: sharia law, illegal “aliens” and humping the daddy trump train.

Daddy trump has a biggly decision which suck up will benefit daddy the bestest.
