I have been watching it on Showtime...even after Showtime, I am sure it will be available on DVD at some point.

It describes the policies of the US here and abroad, since after the first World War.
It explains the birth of the Cold War, and the proliferation of nuclear weapons under Eisenhower.
Clear, well documented, well worth watching!
And now that I understand how the policies started, I can't help but wonder how they will ever stop (I am only half way through the episodes...)

Just like this article talks about a "leftist lens", it describes the ever lasting confusion between pacifism and communism, and the idea that war is usually the main accepted way to solve problems

1. I watched it last week.

This is one of Stone's better pieces.
It was well documented.

Fascinating.....but very depressing.

2. I am loving this series.

I'm looking forward to Reagan and Gorby next week. I feel certain Mr. Stone will shatter the Reagan myth.
