Dept of Education gives up attack on DEI

BREAKING: The Department of Education has ended its directive that attempted to restrict diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in schools nationwide.

This is a victory for academic freedom and education equity.

I believe this has more to do with practicality than any acceptance of DEI. DoEd is incredibly short-staffed. The DOJ is got it's own issues with (frozen water) and does not have the lawyers nor the bandwidth to fight all these fights and have to pull back at least a little.

I think this will only last a little bit more. I think once the midterms appears to be truly lost they will all shift gears and fully move into dictator mode and completely ignore the Courts and Congress and just do whatever it is they want.
