3. I used to work in a men's clothing store. This was 1995-1996.

Even in the Pacific Northwest, we have semi-evolved, semi-literate, trucker-cap rednecks. Guys who would never be seen wearing a necktie, if they even knew how to tie one. But they came through the door in slavering hoards asking if we carried "Rush" ties; those ugly, garish, shitty neckties that he endorsed on his festering abscess of a radio show.

Had to tell them: "Nope. Sorry, not sorry". (Okay, not really). This only lasted for a few months; I'm guessing there weren't enough necktie-wearing guys in His Fatness's audience to make a profit on the endeavor.

There are so many reasons why I'm glad that abysmal, revolting waste of defective human protoplasm is dead. And that's a small one; but one that bears mentioning.

It has been said many times that every form of evil contains the seeds of its own destruction. So we owe a debt of thanks to El Rushbo for all of that cigar smoking. Yes, dickhead, it accomplished what you wanted by annoying all those liberal non-smokers. But ultimately, you did us a favor by dying a prolonged, agonizing death from lung cancer. Well done.
