Can individual states request UN monitoring of their elections/

Serious question.

It has become obvious that Trump plans on interfering with the midterm elections in about "15 places".

Are we secure in our elections?

Trump has threatened voter ID requirements for every voter and he wants to do away with mail-in ballots, with a few exceptions.

Would he put ICE or the military around polling places? We don't know but he might?

What could the UN do if they were to monitor the elections, except to report to the world that the American elections were not legitimate?

Of course they’re worried about losing elections. The only way they know how not to lose is to cheat.

They believe he can steal it for them or figure out some way to keep them in power. Otherwise, they would be looking at other options?

I mean, most states have laws stating who can be in polling places and where votes are counted. I don't know of any states that include international observers in those laws.

One thing's certain: If you're going to have those observers there, you're going to have to change the laws in each state. I don't see that happening in time for any election I'll probably be alive to vote in.

This sounds like another "wouldn't it be nice" thing that will never happen because the laws prohibit it. Perhaps such thing are a waste of time.
