That is the start of a complete emasculation of Trump

With the Supreme Court striking down his use of tariffs, he is left with nothing to threaten businesses or countries with. In his little brain, that was the only thing he would reach for when "negotiating" with others. He used it for punitive reasons, for blackmailing, for throwing his weight around, anything but legitimate economic policy.

We can finish the job once we retake the House and Senate and start endless investigations into him and his administration. He will be a complete lame duck at that point.

Trump never had any balls to begin with. He's just a big bag of fart-scented hot air.

These other laws are more restrictive in their framework and also require Congress to vote on them. It may not be the end of the story yet but I do not think it will be an easy lift for Trump. There is a reason he chose the route he used earlier, it is because the other methods did not offer as much freedom to do as he wishes.

that he can just pull an emergency out of his ass and declare that it justifies his unilateral imposition of tariffs because he feels like it. There are ways to for him to do it but the IEEPA isn't one of them, and the other ways require Congress to regain consciousness now and then.

The White House has said that it plans to replace the IEEPA tariffs with other duties using more clear-cut authorities. However, those legal provisions usually require the U.S. Trade Representative to undertake an investigation, and only apply to certain sectors. President Trump had been using the “emergency” tariffs as a cudgel against any country that displeased him for any reason — including nations like Brazil, on the justification that the government was persecuting a political ally, former president Jair Bolsonaro. Losing that authority deprives Trump of a powerful point of leverage and tool of retaliation.

Those words describe the current GOP-controlled Congress very well.

Trump is certainly willing to defy the supreme court, and the GOP would support him.

What happens next?

There are at least three other laws he can invoke to impose tariffs, and some of the sector tariffs aren’t even affect by this ruling.

His own wife can't stand him, only comes near him when she's forced to, and very obviously wouldn't even think about fucking him. He's probably never fucked anyone unless he paid or raped them

He's a giant manbaby who's never done an hour of physical labor in his life, never swung a hammer, never put a piece of plywood onto a table saw, and sure as shit never changed his own motor oil

If Captain Combover has ever had a callous in his life it's on the fingertips he uses to tap out tweets like a mean teen girl.

Just look at the dainty way he drinks a glass of water, using both hands

The rich pampered brat is as prissy as they come!
