I confess that I can not listen to trump under any circumstances, and I prefer not to look at him. I also don't care what he says because it is always nonsense, a lie, or will just change in five minutes.
So I usually read the transcripts from Aaron Rupar or Ron Filipkowski on bluesky once, and then go on to other sources. It's always nonsense and B.S. and the WH Press Corps in insufferable and never holds his feet to the fire.
But today Filipkowski said trump was "melting down" and "unhinged" and "manic".
Forgive me, but I think that's news. If the corporate media is going to show an empty podium for hours waiting for the tardy trump to speak, they should ANALYZE what he says instead of just moving on. Otherwise, what's the point?

(24,575 posts)but if they're going to air his comments, they need to analyze them honestly. Unfortunately, it is only fairly obscure online writers that openly call him unhinged. In fairness though, I did hear them skating a little closer to that on CNN than they usually do. One analyst called him childish and likened his remarks to a temper tantrum.

What was so different today?
