This is from the early 2000s I think; at least, that's when I first encountered it, so pre-MAGA, probably pre TEA Party but if you can debase your mind far enough into a MAGA mindset and read this on face value, this is exactly the Republicans' sales pitch since 2016.

(4,335 posts)"faux sales pitch", I mentioned I first encountered this in the early 2000s. I've actually been aware of the Church since the mid to late 80s when there was a show on KTRU-Rice University Radio 91.7 that broadcasted all sorts of things Dobbs. I'm even ordained in the church.
