In unprecedented decision, Boston Globe will not print newspaper for Feb. 24 delivery

This is because of the snowstorm currently burying the Boston area. They have NEVER had to do this before. They expect to have papers on February 25.

were getting stuck on ice and spinning wheels. I had to work yesterday, 3 p.m., on the way home on '78, cars were spinning out off the road or on the median.

They probably have 20 people in their production facility between the plate room and the inserting crew. Editorial is no problem because they can work at home, and Advertising works the day shift. But they have a ton of carriers and they don’t want them on the road in the storm.

My daughter's friend there is very pregnant. She went in for an appointment, and the doctors adsvised her to stay there a few days. She and her husband agreed that was a good idea.
