So PBS is reporting that the speech will be two hours long

I mean, can he stand or talk for that long? Even if he just rambles and lies? And the Rs better take long naps this afternoon if they are to appear chipper and attentive for that long. Poor US Hockey players having to sit through that. Then again, they asked for it. Should have followed the women's lead.

Castro addressed an international conference at El Teatro Karl Marx, in protest of the U.S. Cuba embargo. I had press credentials at the time, writing about the conference for a Miami-based organization. A few of the images I made that evening (ones I am allowed to reproduce):

The news anchor-reporter I used to be wouldn’t miss it - just because.

I might tune in. But the “post-game show” might be better. There are always loads of clips. Husband’s preferences WILL be taken into consideration.

Newsfolks talking about it right now do make me curious about it.

Oh, I had forgotten the "weave". He always tries to justify his peculiar behavior as if somehow it was intentional. Or he blames the microphones or the lighting. He is incapable of taking responsibility for anything.

I have eleven year old twin grandsons and they definitely have a better vocabulary than him. Of course, they are avid readers, plus they're decent, honest people.
