All from Minnesota. So that's something, but not enough. I hope that when the dust settles, they will realize that they were used. I hope that listening to him for two hours, during which there will not be one decent sentiment expressed and very little honesty will be an eye opener for them. If, as they claim, they want to keep politics out of it, even they will be able to see that trump is not going to do that tonight. Not by any stretch of the imagination.

At least this is my idea for a comedy sketch a la SNL. I'm certainly not expecting nor wishing any of this upon him literally.

It remains however - that there is still time, and chances for growth there. So we can retain that hope.

(4,854 posts)Kid's sport. Those rich kids grow up in repug suburbs. Gordie Howe grew up throwing hay bails in Saskatchewan. Now kids are in traveling leagues, hockey camps, with plenty of ice time, coaches recruiting the best players...prime territory for nurturing myopic aholes. Like Larkin who grew up in suburban Detroit.
