The first duty of the American government...

…is to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States, which does not limit due process or equal protection to citizens. The 5th and 14th amendments protect “persons,” not just citizens.

Some of us who took that oath actually believed in the words we said.

That oath is a lifetime commitment no matter how many time you swear to it, one time will do. If you are a person of your word and true to the oath, you would not tolerate this in any way. And it is even more so for those in elected office and appointed positions.
