Traveling Man... from ICE

I had a conversation today with a guy from Chicago. We started talking about ICE and he told me this story about one of his friends who is a black man. His friend, let’s call him Tyron, was unaware of an ICE agent coming in a door as he was leaving a store. He bumped into him. ICE went after him, tackled him, handcuffed and abducted him. No explanation. He was not asked for his ID, which he had, and he is an American.

The man I was talking with, let’s call him Gerome, said their group of friends decided to put trackers on themselves because of the ICE raids and indiscriminate arrests. These guys are active activists and going to a lot of protests. They put an app on their phones to track each other’s trackers. Tyron had put his tracker into the sole of his shoe.

Joshua and the others did not know something happened to Tyron until one in the group checked the app. What! Oh No! Tyron’s ping was 2 1/2 hours away. What the f**k!!! He was in another state! He put out an alert to their group. They knew how ICE rolled, so they got several cars together for the trip. They drove and drove tracking their friend’s ping.

They ended up 13-hours away from their start. He was on a bus with a bunch of other people ICE had rounded up when this caravan of friends found him. They waited until the bus was stopped and called the police. While waiting, they encircled the bus with their cars. Their actions not only saved their friend but ¾ of the people on that bus were released as well!!!

Gerome put his tracker IN his leg after this! He showed me the app and he was pinging to our exact location within one-foot.

ICE OUT!

if I need a tracker, I'll attach it to my glasses or decorate it to look like an earring.

and I'll fight hard to keep them. Anyone trying to take them may get their eyes scratched out.

I'm not sure that police in every state would resist ICE. I'd like to know which states will resist.

And, I don't know the man personally, so I can't challenge him on this.
This is how he told it.

There was a story in Minnesota where a woman had guns drawn on her. They pulled her out of her car. She got a message to her husband and he called the police. They followed and got her released.
