The concern I have with this bunch
of fascists and the hiding of evidence against Crumb The 1st is that they will weigh the penalties for document destruction versus the penalties of the details coming out. As I stated before about the CIA torture tapes and the Secret Service phone records these people know that the penalties for destruction, if even prosecuted, will be way less than the penalties for the wrongdoing the documents/records would show.
My other concern is that when/if we take the White House back we need to demand that we don't have an AG who decides to start at the bottom and spend months knowing every detail about minor players. We also must demand an aggressive President who will not be a "let's move on" type. If we are successful in taking the WH it may well be our last and only chance to kill this fascist movement.
I'm not interested in people who tell me I should be trying to "get along" with these people. I'm not interested in turning ourselves into a version of Vichy France. These people are not about democracy, they are not about the Constitution, they are not about the full Bill of Rights and they are not about government and financial/business systems that benefit all of the people rather than a few.
They are about racism, hate, using violence/fear against the citizens, transferring the distribution of money from benefits/wages for people into tax breaks and handouts for those already wealthy and they are about taking away/suppressing people's rights that empower the people and could interfere with the fascists/wealthy dominance.
They have been planning and implementing their scheme for many decades now and it is long past time that it is smashed before it is too late. We must demand aggressive new laws and aggressive action to go after what has been an ever growing cancer on the body of democracy. These fascists are not somehow going to "come to their senses" or reform the GQP. The way the GQP is now is how they want it and the rest of the country to be.
Even before Roosevelt the GQP/wealthy were aligning/supporting the fascists. It continued after WW2 by way of the Red Scare, the Birchers, Goldwater, Nixon, Reagan and on. Despite their pledges not to have ICE-American Gestapo at the polls does anybody really believe them or that they won't use some other "forces" they create? Didn't they promise protesters wouldn't be harmed?
We aren't looking at the face of people to be "debated and compromised with" like this is some high school civics book. This is the face of monstrous evil out to destroy what the people have from the middle on down in society in furtherance of the enrichment, power and control by the few and the fascists. Any "debate" on that is useless since it is plain and undeniable. I'm not interested in "compromise" with people whose goals are to harm me, diminish my rights and further empower and enrich themselves.
