But, they never do. I've not heard of even one case where they transport people back to where they pick them up. I've heard countless cases of the m leaving detained then released individuals out in the cold behind hospitals etc t.o make their way home alone - they usually have no idea where they are. Cruelty is the currency of this administration.

Brown skinned immigrants are not human beings to this regime. They are a pestilence to be gotten rid of -- invaders destroying America. Trump said "they are poisoning the blood of our country," which is exactly what Hitler said about Jews.

Let that sink in.

Ever since Trump came down that escalator in 2015, he has been demonizing brown skinned immigrants. Before treating these people as vermin, they must first be dehumanized -- seen as an invading threat, not persons deserving of basic human decency.

This isn't about keeping our country safe from drugs or criminals. This is racism, and the fear of changing demographics in an America where whites will no longer be a majority. It is the Great Replacement Theory.

The white patriarchy can't bear the thought of losing their privileged status and their grip on the reins of power. That explains why the struggle for civil rights and women's rights has been so long and hard, and why $billions are being spent on an army of brutal thugs to terrorize immigrants and communities that support their neighbors, friends, human beings.

Now this evil racist regime says it will send their ICE thugs to polling places to ensure "election integrity" because their political opponents can win only by cheating. This, of course, is another LIE in a long string of LIES, and PROJECTION of their own clear intent to steal this election.

What is the highest priority of every authoritarian regime?

To sieze, and hold onto power. They will do ANYTHING to ensure that.

Unfortunately, there are still so many people in this nation that don't understand what that sentence means.

They still think that these sub humans will reach a point where they will say, "Okay, that is too far."

They will never say that.

How many of our elected Democrats attended the SOTU and just sat there in silence as the criminal would-be dictator insulted them and spewed lies, while Republicans gave him standing ovations?

Were they worried about breaking decorum and tradition, and how the corporate media would characterize such shocking behavior?

They should be more worried about this fascist regime breaking the republic that Benjamin Franklin said we have -- if we can keep it.

This is not partisan politics as usual, and not just about kitchen table issues and affordability. Our Constitutional rule of law is being shredded before our eyes as an army of brutal thugs is terrorizing our communities and killing citizens in the streets.

The American people are not nearly shocked enough. If we lose our democracy, the America we love and thought we knew is lost.

Sure, people are struggling to feed their families, send their kids to college, afford health care and rent or home ownership. And the Democratic Party clearly serves the interests of ordinary Americans much better as the Republican Party and their Dear Leader give huge tax breaks to the rich while cutting programs and policies that help everyone else. Abigail Spanberger gave a fine speech. She would get my vote.

We can walk and chew gum at the same time. I believe Democrats should have boycotted the SOTU, or walked out en masse after he came in.

Many complain that Democrats do a poor job at messaging, and need more fire in their bellies. Walking out en masse would have sent a POWERFUL MESSAGE, especially followed by a fiery speech that not only showed that WE are clearly on the side of working Americans -- and also the TRUE CHAMPIONS of America's great experiment in Democracy in this struggle against a rising fascism that will destroy the legacy of our nation's Founders, for which generations of real patriots fought and sacrificed.

Because they are not real law enforcement officers for crying out loud.

They are Gestapo goons doing as they are told to do. They do not have to follow any stinking rules or laws.

I'm sure they are all having a fine laugh over all of this, including Krasnov.

2nd of all, why are we believing that the Gestapo dropped him off alive and he died 4 days later? Is there proof of this?

Maybe the Gestapo dropped him off dead, where he was found?

Democrats are going to give DHS more money, take that to the bank. Whatever agreement they make to give them more money will be broken on Day 1.

I recall the memorials The NY Times did for the individuals killed on the 9/11 attack on the people of our country. The individual memorials reminded us that each person was a human being, and could not be erased by the killers.

Those killings were planned and executed mainly by Saudi citizens.

These killings, whether caused by dereliction of duty or outright murder, are being done by Americans who do not believe in the rule of law, and who want absolute power over all of us. We will do everything we can to remember these individuals killer, even though we have not yet been able to stop the killings or even count them all.

It is not just Donald Trump and Kristi Noem who are responsible. It is the entire cabinet, the shadow government of enablers, cheerleaders and instrumentalists, the conservative think tankers, and the entire Republican Party.

It includes every member of this Republican power structure, formal or informal, who have not spoken out forcefully against the killings and outrages. It includes those who who hang on to their positions and offices, too scared to act and too cowardly to get out of the way.. They too will need to be counted.

Compiling the lists of the people killed and of the people complicit has nothing to do with accountability or justice. That is a separate issue.

The counting is about honesty and truth, and acknowledging our shared humanity.

Do they have proof they dropped the man off alive? How did he wander around for 4 days not far from his home with no one recognizing him?

Is it procedure for the Gestapo to drop off people at a nearby Donut shop? That makes no sense to me, they only had to drive 5 more miles.

Maybe they really dropped him off already dead where he was found?

This horrific treatment of this poor man & many others is sure to bring immense lawsuits & rightfully so. I consider this fact the residual effect to guarantee the USA will be broken long after the ruskie ASSets are gone.

Here is a thought provoking question: why aren't ALL govt officials & police/ICE required to purchase professional liability insurance as a condition of employment for all other professionals?

Why is the US taxpayer always paying for the unethical & often deadly consequences of bad behavior?

Insurance companies do not like high risk, so this would screen out a lot of sociopaths & ease the burden on taxpayers while, ideally, ensuring this sort of horrific treatment of people does not happen!

Time to end qualified immunity!!!

This poor man had to be terrified! 💔

Do the scum responsible for this believe this act of unfathomable cruelty made their penises grow?

... those that cops involved think need an attitude adjustment or just one more kick in the butt.

This has to with the personality types who want to be policing other people. It has to do with the high number of ex-military in policing. It has to do with the disconnection society has with prisoners and ex-prisoners. It has to do with racism, classism, cops who are closet sadists and criminals themselves who enjoy screwing with people who have no recourse.

And regular citizens who accept that law enforcement is like sausage making: you really don't want to see the whole process. The want some amorphous "law and order" and as long as they can maintain plausible ignorance of the sausage making aspect of law enforcement, they will ignore the wreckage.

...and sit in the pews with everyone else blindly reciting The Lord's Prayer, and then get up in the morning and go unleash cruelty on people the State--and obviously you--have deemed mere animals and not humans deserving of any care, respect, or mercy, is beyond anything I can imagine.

It reminds me of the movies that senior Nazi officials made of themselves on holiday having a good laugh with friends at lavish picnics while their beautifully clothed children played in the field nearby while their regime was building and running the most horrific factories of death imaginable in the beautiful countryside of occupied lands.

It is a disgusting split screen that we have seen many times in history.
