If the Democrats think voters will give them credit for demanding that Hillary testify

They are sadly mistaken. Being the good party and following the rules does not make the news or gain any concessions from the Rs. In fact, it emboldens them. Comer was just bragging about how "bipartisan" he was because even the Dems agreed that she should testify. But he would not commit to ANY Rs testifying, not Musk, trump, or Luttnik.

Rs will claim this clown show today is bipartisan. They will get clips to make into ads. Their base will not read or care about Hillary's excellent statement or the great press conference that Garcia is holding right now.

Forget about the high road. We've been taking that for decades and look where it's gotten us.

This appears to be a decision taken by the Clintons

We may feel really good about taking the high road all the time, but it will not serve our cause. It never does. And the media has one standard for the Republicans and a much higher standard for Democrats - one that can never be met. Remember when the media kept a news cycle going for two weeks on how Obama wasn't presidential because he wore a tan suit? Let's stop trying to win over these deplorables and let's stop trying to get fair coverage from the media. Let's start fighting dirty.

Just hard. For instance, I believe the Clintons easily could have gotten away with not testifying today unless it was public. And they should have stated that they were doing so because they didn't trust Rs to tell the truth about their testimony.

And it feels exposed today. The Clintons came and talked to congress about Epstein. I assume Steve Bannon and company will be next . . . Right?

I can easily see the Rs not calling any of their own to testify after the Clintons do everything "just right". Charges of hypocrisy mean nothing to them.
