1. Cuts in Medicare too

I just got my annual chest imaging for the TB and asbestos exposures I had in the Navy.

I was told that since I'm over 78, I will have to pay for this scan, and all future scans, because apparently Dr Oz has determined that by the time the TB or asbestos resurface as a health issue, I would probably be at the age of death knocking on my door anyway.

The radiologist stated that the lung screen for smokers ends at the age 78 screening. From 79 on, you're on your own.

This is a lifelong followup asbestos/TB screen (not directly administered by the VA due to Dick Cheney Iraq war), that I will quit on my own when I'm good and F******g ready.
