A DVT was what ultimately killed my stepmother. They had her on Coumadin but the dose apparently wasn't right and she suffered a massive hemorrhagic stroke not long afterwards. Watch your dosage carefully if you're still taking it.

They almost let me bleed to death internally before they took me off though. Well I say almost, let me tell you what happened. I was remodeling one of our bathrooms and a piece of drywall that was maybe 2 ft by 4 ft tipped out and bumped me on the side of the face and immediately I started bleeding. The blood was coming out of the pores of my skin and not because of a scrape of anything, just because of a light tap.

Can they really treat something like that in 48 hours?

I've been far more worried about Secretary Clinton today than the fiscal fiasco.

I'm glad she's getting good medical attention, those types of brain bleeds can be very dangerous.

hadn't been given until now-leading to nothing but speculation. I don't understand the lack of information myself-and I am no fan of Wolf Blitzer.

That being said-best wishes Madame Secretary.
