Iran Seen Carrying Out Activity at Bombed Nuclear Sites

Iran is conducting regular and unexplained activity at bombed uranium-enrichment sites, United Nations atomic inspectors said, potentially complicating talks with the US over Tehran’s nuclear ambitions.

Satellite imagery shows work taking place at sites targeted by the US and Israel in June, International Atomic Energy Agency Director Rafael Mariano Grossi said in a report on Friday. The nature of what’s happening there is unknown to inspectors, he said, as they’ve been blocked from making examinations since that 12-day conflict.

The IAEA has been unable to verify the state and location of Iran’s inventory of near-bomb-grade uranium for more than eight months. Ongoing talks between Washington and Tehran over the Islamic Republic’s nuclear program are set to resume next week.

A person familiar with Washington’s position said Trump’s special envoy Steve Witkoff and son-in-law Jared Kushner left Geneva disappointed with the progress of the talks. Officials from Iran and mediator Oman were more upbeat. Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Albusaidi hailed “significant progress” in a post on X.

The Emperor told us he obliterated their nuclear sites, and he never lies or overstates anything, right? I'm sure the ever vigilant press will tell us it is Joe Biden's fault . . . after all, he is old. (sarcasm, in case there is any question).

...make a charge and run with that instead of providing evidence to back anything up.

Unexplained activity at the bomb sites is a really weak justification, imo.

They almost certainly have mobilized the uranium and have moved it and the centrifuges or plan to move them, most of it stored deep underground - a direct result of the U.S. aggression
