They're repeating the same arguments - THE EXACT SAME ARGUMENTS - that were used to justify the Iraq war. "They're developing nuclear weapons." "Fight them over there so we don't have to fight them here." The same arguments that were done by the same party to justify the same thing in living memory are being fallen for by the same. Fucking. Idiots. I mean, it might be different if we were talking about the rationales for the Spanish-American War, but we're talking about less than 3 decades ago!

It's completely fucking maddening. Our national anthem calls us the land of the free and the home of the brave, but we are now the land of the dumb and the home of the dumber.
