is that it "happens" in the underwear but it the unexpected result of forcing an airy bodily function.

My male kid could ruin a perfectly good diaper right after I had changed it. I swear it's a guy thing. My girls never left marks. My son, on the other hand, was making skid marks from the day he was born.

Which is what others seem to have thought he meant.

I thought he said it because they were hitting the breaks so hard on negotiations.

$250,000 is not middle class or poor, but it isn't really that rich either when property taxes top 15,000 on a regular house. And LIPA electricity bills can top 500 a month for a normal house.

I saw his comments in reference to how every time there appears to be progress, the repubs nail the brakes, leaving only skidmarks instead of anything of consequence.

I thought it was perfect as well as hilarious.

Edited to correct spelling error.

I am still laughing, envisioning repubs going 'What did he just say? Did he call us skid marks? What the hell does that mean?' They were outraged at the President's appearance today and he didn't call them skid marks (I kind of wish he could have done so, lol) so I await their response to Rep Israel's comments with a smile on my face.

... and wondered if he could possibly not be aware of the dual meaning. Certainly fits the Republicans either way.

I must agree with those above who commented on the differences between the genders. It seems that the male of the species, generally speaking, finds body noises and bodily functions and fluids hysterically funny, no matter how old they are or aren't . Just last week, I had a mom in the pediatric office ask me to take a look at a rash on her son's butt. Just as she slid his jeans down and I bent closer to take a look, he passed gas, with a huge grin and a big laugh. It didn't seem accidental.

Reading the comments on this thread has given me a much needed fit of giggles after weeping my way thru a very poignant brodcast Live At Lincoln Center concert in tribute to the late Marvin Hamlisch. Thanks for the mood lift!

Happy New Year!!!
