In my humble opinion, Trump may have just DELIVERED the US Senate to the Democrats in 2026! (along with the House!)

Trump and the Republicans were ALREADY at 2006 Bush disapproval poll ratings over the economy,
WITHOUT any new middle eastern war----

and NOW they want to add a NEW "Iraq war" on top of that ???

"NOBODY VOTED FOR THAT!"--- and indeed, Trump RAN on
NOT starting any new wars---- before he became a 'neo-con' himself!
Even many MAGATS are now bailing on him over THIS particular 'broken promise'!

And, before he started this NEW WAR against Iran,
Republicans were ALREADY starting to panic about their continued control of the Senate!-----
before this NEW SHIT was thrown against the wall!

I think this will TURN the upcoming Senate general elections
in Ohio, Maine, Alaska and TEXAS---

(and possibly some other states which I can't imagine right now---
and that the Democratic incumbents/candidates in any 'swing states'
will HOLD their seats this November!)

((YEAH, I'd rather that the 'High-Chair Hitler' hadn't done this,
but we can't seem to control him---

but I think this is the 'silver lining'!))

((( Too bad Iranian civilians may 'pay the price' for it,
but 'it is what it is'! )))

He'll be there just long enough to assure that Israel isn't threatened. I believe he said this is gonna last about a week.

Then, he's outta there. At least that's what I predict. He doesn't like being unpopular and right now it doesn't like a transition to a new type of government is gonna happen. It will be a repeat of same old, plus nine Pakistani protesters were killed at the US Embassy in Karachi today. Not a good look.....

The isolationist stance is a pretty fervent one for some conservatives. I definitely think TACO is going to lose supporters but enough to vote Democrat?

It’s been just over one year since he’s been back in office and it feels like an eternity.

We could have a stock market crash by then, fueled by open AI falling apart. We could have increasing unemployment too. Inflation could be spiking.

Impossible to say. Any initial quick “success” of taking out Khamanei will likely be short lived.

...but even sychophantic power hungry politicians have their limits. And this will be it.

(If he follows through with a full scale invasion)

The reason is because a substantial portion of the GOP's entire base at this point is anti-war.

"About 27% of respondents said they approved of the strikes, while 43% disapproved and 29% were not sure. About nine in 10 respondents said they had heard at least a little about the strikes, which began early on Saturday.

About 56% of Americans think Trump, who has also ordered strikes in Venezuela, Syria and Nigeria in recent months, is too willing to use military force to advance US interests. The vast majority of Democrats - 87% - held this view, as did 23% of Republicans and 60% of people who don’t identify with either political party."

They will lose an as yet determined number of isolationist types within the maga spectrum. And it doesn’t have to be many for it to matter to impact the midterms.

If it’s unsuccessful it adds to a long list of problems they already had. If it’s successful, post afterglow, everyone still has the same problems they had before here at home.
