Is a Quintuple Jump Possible in Figure Skating? NOVA PBS

Five rotations in midair, landing on a knife’s edge. Is a quintuple jump in figure skating actually possible? The physics might surprise you.

Figure Skating will need to establish a gymnastic style skating division then..... like we have for pairs, ice dancing...have gymnastic skaters....

If they don't...and quint jumps gets extra points...it will deter from the artistry of figure skating and deplete the folks who want to skate competitively in singles.

He (and most of the younger skaters) seem to be getting better at sync with their music now.

Here he is at 11
