When I was preparing a poster for a protest, I cut the poster board in half to fit the backing for it. Since I needed space on the table to do my lettering and pasting, I left the other half on the kitchen floor while I worked.
My cat promptly took over the flat poster board piece on the floor. She even turned around a few times to get adjusted the same as she would inside a box.

A couple years ago when I was kitteh-sitting my sister's tuxie around the holidays, he made sure to get inside the partially un-zippered round wreath bag when I was trying to put wreaths up in the windows.

(25,592 posts)a 6 week old kitten from the Humane Society, we could not find it. We had a small efficiency apartment at the time, so there were not many places the kitten could have gone. We got worried about where he could be.
When I got ready for a shower and opened the hamper lid to put my PJs in it, there was our new kitten, curled up on dirty clothes. He must have climbed up the side and slipped under the lid.
