Awesome. Just awesome.
End snip.
Insert is a report from Jonathan Karl stating that 🍊 told him that he had candidates lined up in Iran but they were all killed in the first strike.
Did AI tell them to do that or did they do that on their own?

(56,132 posts)Really it's more of a debacle, catastrophe, or fiasco.
Or in military terms, FUBAR.

(3,457 posts)Don't know where that assumption in the OP came from
Also, key words "is saying" which of course means it's guaranteed bullshit.

(5,675 posts)by Jonathan Karl, giving the wrong impression. I saw the clip this came from just now, in another DU thread, where Karls body language gave the wrong impression. He didnt clarify.
Still, even for T, saying success we took out our own plans would be weird!

(31,876 posts)Since Jared Kushner was the guy tasked with creating peace in the ME, why doesn't Krasnov issue an EO and let the Iranian people know that Kushner is going to be President of Iran, no negotiations.
Kushner's first edict will be to proclaim that Iran is now a secular government, no mixing of religion with state seeing as how bad it is turning out in the US.
Krasnov said that Jared will be greeted with rose petals and a statue of him in downtown Tehran.

(19,066 posts)We're talking about a guy who doesn't read, gets picture book briefings which must include mentions of himself to keep him awake.
How deep in the depth chart do you really think his briefings/knowledge went?

(15,306 posts)From the perspective of Trump having any true knowledge - or moreover, the slightest inkling toward veracity, even if he did so .. ?

(2,283 posts)It doesnt matter, there is always a line of succession in Iran. The government is both highly distributed and also deep.
If they killed all the .candidates, it just means they they dont know who is boing to take over. And therefore there is no idea what this person will be like.
Only added another dimension of unknowns.
Great work guys
(not!)

(23,952 posts)They were emboldened by kidnapping Maduro and thought these strikes would topple Iran's leaders so they could install someone who would hand over Iran's natural resources to their friends. They figured the people they saw protesting would do the heavy lifting.
One of the main miscalculations was that Iran doesn't have a viable opposition group that is armed and can make a real dent against the government. The best we could have hoped for is someone from the Supreme Leaders inner circle would take over and come back to the negotiating table.
Now it's chaos and no one knows what comes next.
