Does anyone else feel FURIOUS when the Pedo in Chief flippantly and without emotion tells us that

his war will kill more servicemen.
I was indescribably angry when bush jr went into Iraq, but my current rage is beyond anything I had for jr.

About six months ago a young man at the hardware store told me he was considering joining the military and I advised him not to since Felon might start a war. He was taking care of his baby daughter whom he'd brought to work, and he wanted a secure job to support his family.

Obviously he was not equipped to be president, but I never saw him as evil even though the results of his misadventures often were evil. He did have some redeeming qualities, he just wasn't cut out to be a leader. Plus he wasn't terribly bright.

Mon Mar 2, 2026, 08:28 PM

this smells like the start of a larger conflagration. Apocalyptic for your country, and mournful. I turned to the Bob Dylan song, “Knock knock knocking on heaven’s door”, and the lyrics were not about Trumpy as some might think. They were about an end to an era of peace and justice at the hands of the “`wild bunch”, which was the movie title (Sam Pekinpah, 1972). Dylan had a bit part, playing a character called “Alias”. The song was the background dirge for the dying local sheriff (Ernest Borgnine) who was gut shot by one of the “bunch.” Give it a listen, it’s right up to date.
Will Canada join in with boots on the ground if called? Right now there’s no consensus as there was in Afghanistan. Iran’s response is layered; they haven’t played all their cards yet, especially the naval one.

38. Unfortunately the war profiteering corporations
Mon Mar 2, 2026, 08:56 PM

That mostly run the US by now: Google, Facebook, Palantir, Musk Inc, Microsoft etc do profit from war, as do social media platforms like TikTok/Twitter/YouTube that harvest and exploit the emotion war generates.

It is wearisome..and with rule by corporate machinery, its algorithms and botnets, it is hard to see how things will change.

Lina Khan was the best thing that happened to the US in the recent past. That was a solid move by President Biden, but she was not popular with billionaires like Vinod Khosla, Mark Cuban and Reid Hoffman.

And as a non-American what bothers me is that these companies and their equally repellant local analogs want to do the same thing everywhere.

But each country is its own beast. India is also now under the sway of corporations and I am going to the authorities here at least

You have to strategize as the human you are. Going to protests etc is not my thing, though I am well to the left and populism friendly with solidarity.
But the reason I liked Lina Khan so much was she moved in the same way those guys do and it has hobbled me for years - these pseudoleft slogans like “Open Borders” and “Defund the Police” as someone sympathetic to the 70,000 immigrants languishing in hells (though extremely unsympathetic to the imperious Vinod Khosla, that ass Cuban who should stick to his stupid sports empire or whatever..) and to blm.

I have established sufficient contact with the real left now to start to do things that seem “right wing” in political theatre, but in reality is pragmatic leftism and I am targeting the greasy for profits in ai, data mining etc. They must be regulated and have serious oversight rather than more dubious “art”, conversations and teaching moments and a cottage industry of dishonest “tech criticism” like anything Tristan Harris, Frances Haugen (if you use Facebook you will be depressed. But when you are forced to use Facebook as it bleeds into your real world and health etc it is time to go to the police and without a dog and pony show. I owe it to my medical marijuana company and doctor in India to work with the police rather than greedy private equity owned hospitals aggressively marketing unwanted home healthcare) and that ass Max Tegmark.

The only relief to my feelings these days is viciously slamming this collection of vapid, dead-eyed fools who dare think you can scam all the people all the time.

I am too old and way too cranky for this shit ffs. Next time a dimwitted girlboss wannabe should be drafted into these foul things and not an extremely cantankerous women’s libber (Jezebel, Beyonce, Taylor Swift and Kim Kardashian have ruined the word “feminism”, unlike Valerie Solanas who should not have ruined her legacy with violence). I see that an extremely wealthy person called Bad Bunny is similarly ruining the cause of those 70,000 immigrants languishing in prison by making it all about himself.

These societies are broken 😤. No, I mean they are…But when writing into a void filled with dimwitted and belligerent humans (the home team!) one has to infuse humor. I mean ..don’t get me wrong..as little sympathy as I have for the dishonest, creepy, sleazy, solipsistic, shallow, narcissistic etc, it would be beyond hypocritical of Ol’ jfz9580m to sneer at the merely dimwitted and belligerent.

Dimwitted and belligerent people unite against the machine! But in less dimwitted and more functionally belligerent ways. As that ass Tyler Durden said, “This isn’t a seminar!”

I am going to set the ball rolling today/the week by drafting a last series of acrimonious posts tjay still don’t break TOS for Activist HQ and drafting an email to my former administrator, mentor and a decent male scientist to alert them that Ol’ jfz9580m has woken up and is on the rampage. I am finally recovered from the loss of my mom and 14+ years of my life.

After that I shall log off and go work on my field.

I never thought the internet would change the world. But strategically filed complaints in an Idiocracy can make Ol’ jfz9580m’s life less hellish, which really was all Ol’ jfz9580m was shooting for, not a pile of disgraceful and poorly conceived bullshit in two different countries.

I have never seen such an all-sided collection of greedy, shallow, solipsistic, self-absorbed, self-involved, attention-seeking, fear-mongering, hypocritical, paranoid, delusional narcissists who then project and it is time.

I have no patience with fools. I never sign up for drivel because it is not in my interest professionally and certainly would be the very last hobby of choice with “going to prison” being the only one that is lower. If that is considered a hobby, which it seems to be type of protester/grifter/camgirl (hat-tip to Evgenia Kovda) who thinks the spectacle of going to prison changes the minds of anyone sane.

Ol’jfz9580m prefers a good book by the fire (that is a metaphor) 😤.
