...by a republican party that refuses to use their majority to restrain him.
He's a spoiled, privileged man-child who is fast running out of things he can grab and break, including his own promises.
After destroying what he could of the federal government, he discovered he could get a firm hold on the military and flail it around wherever he pleases; taking the nation where they told him they didn't want to go; where he promised he wouldn't go.
Trump's burned through those taboos like crack and it won't be long before he's jonesing for a new high- like a cocaine addict who's snorted too much and drained themselves of dopamines- and he starts eyeing our country's nuclear arsenal as a way give himself another rush of power and self-aggrandizement.
We can only hope they've got man-child-safety locks on the nuclear briefcase.

(19,069 posts)because 80 million Americans voted to give him that power and 90 million more didn't bother to vote against giving him that power.
Trump is a problem, yeah. He is creating problems for all of us, yeah. But the root of that is 170 million adult American eligible voters and what they did or didn't do when faced with a choice in 2024.
Are we all victims of Trump's actions? Yeah, sure. But Trump's actions are the actions of the majority of Americans. Nothing is going to get better until America looks in a mirror instead of gawking at the freak in the White House.
