Conducted Feb 26-March 2, it shows Talarico up 53-40 for tomorrow's open primary in Texas.

Previous yougov poll conducted Feb 2-16 had Crockett up 56-44.
Harris endorsed Crockett on Feb 27, so depending on how many people it polled on Feb 26, it may or may not fully account for her endorsement of Crockett.

(4,082 posts)I think it would appeal to the voters she already has. If the swing voters are voting in the Democratic primary, which appears to be the case, I think that is the reason Talerico is winning. If they were voting in the Republican primary Crockett would win.

(17,410 posts)Many Texans still remember Harris' visit to the border while VP, and they didn't think she took the issue seriously enough. That's still the general consensus at least in my neck of the woods.

(4,841 posts)numerous polls showing BOTH major candidates well ahead for the
Democratic nomination for US Senator in Texas!!
Guess we'll have to wait until the votes are actually counted to call this one!

(4,841 posts)taken close to the election, and maybe two, as well as others that put Talarico in the lead...
so I can't figure this one....
Guess it is a good test for who can turn out the most of their voters---
for a party primary, at least...
(I love Crockett, but have concluded that she may not be the best party nominee, for this race in that state...)

(2,689 posts)The most recent one I know of where she is ahead is taken between Feb 13 and 22.
Any poll taken entirely after the 17th though only has Talarico ahead. Most by a lot.
(Thay I know of)
