Republicans' surrender

News anchors and pundits repeatedly state that Republicans in Congress have given up on oversight of the Trump administration because they fear retaliation. I’d appreciate it if another reason was considered….raw cowardice.

If a 70 year old woman in Minneapolis dares to stand up to ICE even though she only has a sign and whistle while they have weapons and ammunition, Republicans should be able to muster up a teeny portion of that kind of courage. Most Republicans seem to be tiptoeing down the path of no resistance, their road most traveled.

Trump and his administration are a dangerous disgrace but Republicans give them permission to operate like that. Some Republicans approve of the policies, some care more about their next election than they do our Constitution.

The midterms should be our turn at retribution.

And I agree wholly. Their craven self serving licking of his boots has endangered our democracy and threatens all of us. None of them should ever be let within a thousand miles of government ever again.🤬

He occasionally makes the national news with his gutless Trump dry humping. He's beyond cowardice. He was in Moscow on July 4, 2018 on a "trade mission" leading me to believe he's on Putin's payroll. He's getting paid to be a coward. They're the worst kind.

Boycott as many of these cowardly and/or complicit corporations as you can.

I'm not confident they're going to happen. I wouldn't be shocked if there's a "national emergency" that will trigger the Insurrection Act, or other actions to rig the elections. It's not like the Republicans are going to stand up to his madness. They've already demonstrated that they won't.
