So, I'm guessing that when we bought 2 new EVs in 2024 and were scoffed at, there's going to be....

Big plates of humble pie passed around. Right now, I'm feeling damned proud of the choices we made.

TODAY 3/6/26: oil prices climbed after Qatar's energy minister predicted the war on Iran will force Gulf exporters to shut off production within days and warned it could spur prices to $150 a barrel. At the same time, The Wall Street Journal reported that Kuwait has begun cutting production. President Trump said Friday that the only path to resolution in Iran is "UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER."

West Texas Intermediate (CL=F) futures rose over 8% to top $87.50, while international benchmark Brent (BZ=F) crude futures gained 5.3% to trade near $90.

Both are set for their biggest weekly surge in five years as tanker traffic in the Strait of Hormuz remains at a near-standstill.

regular oil changes and general maintenance keeps it going strong. (still under 150K miles)

plus I work from home now, so I really only gas up once every month-month and half.

Most likely it's natural gas or oil. Either way, you're still paying for oil.

It's nat gas, so not nearly as bad as the SAME distillation of oil to gas, oh, an added bonus: Cheaper car insurance by 27% . I'll call that a win / win

the day before the attack. He'd been looking at the idea for some time--in the luxury market -- and the right one that was a year old with 4000 miles on it, used/maintained by the dealer as a loaner, with a couple of price reductions on its sticker, made him take the plunge. Talk about timing!
