All this time that I was irritated daily by gNOEM's non-stop commercials bullying immigrant targets and lapdogging KRASNOV, I just immediately reached for the remote and dismissed it all as the b.s. propaganda it was, yes sometimes wondering at the cash involved for this ad campaign. But I never saw it being questioned as to its existence and cash until this week, thinking it was just one more KRASNOV squandering of somebody else's money. Now glad that finally it got questioned by poohbahs in Congress as an exorbitant and blatant slap to the public treasure. It was bad enough as a frivolous costume party for her.
So she claimed that KRASNOV approved it. Then - gasp - KRASNOV *denied* it and now her "team" (did she approve it?) is fairly much calling KRASNOV a liar.
Will he take the next step of stripping her of the new made-up office he was giving her instead of really firing her? She's going to have a rough, invisible tenure.

.... According to The Daily Callers Reagan Reese, Noem had grievances with the Trump White House. One administration official informed Reese that Noem told Trump and his White House that she was not getting the support she needed at the end of 2025, and that while Trump agreed and stepped in to help, which led to a temporary improvement, things took a turn for the worse after federal agents shot and killed two Americans in Minneapolis, after which Noem felt that she was thrown under the bus.
That same official disputed Trumps claim that he was not aware of a controversial, $220 million ad campaign that Noem starred in, insisting to Reese that the White House was aware of Noems ad contract, and asserting that senior White House officials were even involved in getting the funds approved. Trump directly refuted Noems claim that he was aware of the ad campaign in comments to Reuters on Thursday. ....
Secretary Noem was questioned about the $200 million in advertising that she authorized that featured her prominently on horseback at Mount Rushmore. It was an ad campaign about border security. And she told Congress that the president approved of that campaign, even though apparently he did not, said Heinrich, who also noted that Noem never denied sexual relations with Lewandowski.
