When I was in elementary school, all the little girls took piano lessons. The lady who gave the lessons had a little dachshund named Schatzi and afterwards my mom and I stopped by the bakery on the corner. The lady (I only remember her dog’s name)
had a couch in the hall for those waiting for the lesson to finish before they had theirs. Beside the couch there were “ladies
magazines” to pass the time.
Those magazines had, predictably, ads for ladies. The one that always puzzled us had an obviously sophisticated, elegantly dressed woman model-posed on a veranda. The text below read “Modess, because….”
Because…what? We pre-pubescent girls discussed this, but we never did figure it out. Until we got older, but even then we were still puzzled by that Because….
Whenever I hear the phrase “Shield of the Americas”, I picture that ad and wonder if Krusty Gnome is the extra absorbent layer.
There’s a forum called Organization of the American States that already exists. Is this just another case of Fat Donnie bypassing existing institutions because he thinks he can do better? Surprise, he cannot!
Maybe it’s a way to dole out taxpayer money to advance his dream of world domination. Maybe he’ll be the first recipient of the fake award they hand out.
Who knows? Whatever it is, it’s a scam dreamed up in his addled brain that will yield no benefits for anyone but himself. I bet he will start selling hats.
