Remember Jill Stein?
In case youve forgottensince her name only resurfaces on schedule every four yearsshes the perennial Russian-backed Green Party candidate who materializes right on cue to trash Democrats, ostensibly from the left, then vanishes back into whatever bunker sustains her until the next presidential cycle.
Her 2024 campaign manager was Jason Call. In February 2025, this supposed leftist wrote that while Donald Trump was bad, electing [Kamala] Harris wouldve been worse.
To Call, all of Trumps evilsand the list is endlesswere still preferable to the alleged moral stain of re-electing genocide. You can argue, quite easily, that Trump was objectively worse for Gaza given that Israeli warmongering Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu openly preferred him.

(102,024 posts)That I perceived was that it may have been that the Harris - potential - admin. actually had a plan for dealing with the Gaza tragedy but was not able to disclose for reasons of security on numerous levels.
I will continue to understand that the election was tampered and falsely recorded leaving us with the criminal class in charge. Most of this would not have happened if the election had not been manipulated to a false conclusion. Everything that has come to pass since then proves this to be true.
That being said, I am not a purity test type of voter nor a single issue voter, per se. I will vote for the candidates who can convince me that they have the right understanding of our plight and have the ambition and fortitude to carry out what needs to be done by them. Considering the issues, I'm not interested in petty things, red flags, another story that I will look into right away. Nobody's perfect.

(40,117 posts)6+ million reliably Democratic base voters who voted for Biden, DIDN'T show up for Harris
I seriously, seriously doubt they went with Jill Stein instead

(19,583 posts)why? Probably misogyny and racism.

(7,457 posts)That accounts for most but dont forget that Stein and her followers spent a lot of time trashing first Biden, then Harris. Plus she did have an effect in 16 and lets not for Nader in 2000.
