Looks like the going rate for prison guards to look the other way may be $5,000.00
The prison guard overseeing Epstein while in jail made a $5,000.00 deposit shortly before Epstein's "suicide."
Release the Epstein autopsy.

(5,185 posts)Berman was appointed acting US attorney by Jeff Sessions for a 120 day term. Then the judges of the district unanimously appointed him for an indefinite period until there was a senate confirmed appointment - which Trump never got. But he did fire Sessions and replaced him with Bill Barr who eventually in the summer of 2020 forced Berman out, initially Berman refused until Barr agreed to replace him with his deputy, Audrey Strauss who brought charges against Ghislaine Maxwell.
When Biden took office, Chuck Schumer recommended Damian Williams for SDNY. He took office in October 2021 and the charges were dropped in December 2021
After the 2024 election results, Williams announced his resignation to take effect in December 2024 and he went back to Paul Weiss (where he had worked 2009-2012)
Paul Weiss is the firm that was led by Brad Karp (in the Epstein files) and agreed to give the Trump admin $40 million in pro-bono work and eliminate DEI policies in exchange for Trump rescinding his executive order targeting firm employees and taking away security clearances and access to federal buildings.
In June of 2025 Williams resigned from Paul Weiss to move to a smaller firm that stood up to the Trump administration.
I'm not accusing Williams of anything.... but... wouldn't he have known that Brad Karp was in the Epstein files before he went to Paul Weiss for the second time?

(17,799 posts)Not if he was guilty. Of course he would want it to look that way. Whoever gave him the money probably told him what to do with it and what to say if he was asked about it. He has a story, I'm sure.

(6,858 posts)The FBIs analysis of prison computers claimed Noel searched latest on Epstein in jail at 5:42 a.m., and again at 5:52 a.m. on August 10, 2019.
Less than 40 minutes later, Epstein was found lifeless in his cell.

I have always wondered about the coincidence of the power blackout in NYC the day his body was discovered.

I just did a search on the NYC power blackout on the day of Epsteins death and found no confirmation of it. But I clearly remember watching a news show that was reporting on the death and also discussing the power outage throughout the city and showing aerial views of the city after dark.

(6,279 posts)If the skip in the jail camera footage didnt make it obvious, this should. He was suicided, and, the guards were paid off imo - probably in increments to not look suspicious.
A lot of powerful people were his co-conspirators. They didnt want him to talk. Im surprised Ghislaine Maxwell is still alive tbh. This is all purely imo.

(15,329 posts)Her father was a high level diplomat and double agent for various competing countries, and she has cover from sope powerful people and organizations.
Chances are, she probably not only procured "product" for Epstein, she was the partner that made all the connections in the high international finance and government circles she grew up in.
Epstein did not have her background. He might have had "charm" and cultivated connections and worked for high class mobsters, but he wasn't really in their class and circle.
Easy enough to make him a fall guy.
She's probably also got a "if I die, this all comes out" plan somewhere, people in her position always do.
So her living a comfortable life in Club Fed might be boring, but safer for everyone involved. Eventually, she expects to be released. If everything goes to their plan, that is.

(2,656 posts)one of them said "You killed him", apparently referring to Tova Noel. If that is true, it isn't a cover-up. It is a murder.
It isn't clear how or why Ms. Noel would have wanted to kill him, or why anybody would commit murder for $5000. The implication nof the reporting is that the other guards evidently thought it was an accident. But the $5000 certainly casts doubt on any accident theory.
I can't think of any accident scenario like this. Was she just trying to rough him up? That wouldn't make mu sense.
