As my father's frontotemporal dementia progressed, his occasional blunders when he called me by my mother's
name turned into rabid virulent rants as I "became" my deceased mother... My father was always so sweet + devoted
when my mother was alive... As his dementia progressed, he never held back his rage... It gave the appearance he
had "suffered in silence" while my mother was alive; advancing age + dementia released his inner "kraken"...
