Trump claimed Iran bombed their own school. Senator Chris Murphy (D-CT) calls bullsh*it on Orange Rapin' Grampy

Chris Murphy: "I think it's likely the United States that carried out this attack on this school. I think it's unforgivable under any circumstances, but the fact this was one of our first targeting decisions speaks to the incompetence of our leadership at the Dept of Defense."

Made all the worse when one factors in all the REAL reasons for the WAR they don't want to call a war.... (Not the made-up on the fly Trump/MAGA bullshit reasons.)

... there is NO DOUBT that the U.S. is responsible for the destruction of the Shajareh Tayyebeh girls' elementary school is in Minab.

I don't trust anything Hegseth's DoD has to say, but we do have an explicit denial from CENTCOM on the desalination plant. I think that puts the Iranian claim that the U.S. was responsible for the strike on the plant in doubt.

...Capt. Tim Hawkins, a spokesman for the U.S. Central Command, said that U.S. forces were not responsible for that attack...

There has been no such CENTCOM denial of the strikes on the school. Time to just admit the truth that is plain for all to see given the proximity of the school to the IRGC naval forces compound they targeted in Minab.

An yes, it wasn't incompetence. It was negligence. Our military has a responsibility to know what are firing missiles at.

This article reports:

The United States acknowledges targeting the IRGC naval forces base in Minab on 2/28/2026. The U.S. is operating warships in the Arabian Sea, including the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier, within range of the school and IRGC naval forces compound.

Israel, which has denied conducting the strike, has focused on areas of Iran closer to Israel and hasn’t reported any strikes south of Isfahan, 800 kilometers (500 miles) away.

The NYTimes article (link below) compares a satellite image of Minab taken 5/14/2024 with an image taken 3/4/2026. It is clear that structures in the compound AND the school were destroyed.

See the NYTimes before and after images in this article (gift link):
