General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsDon't forget what their end goal is...they have told us...
but we. dont. listen.
thiel, musk et al are blatantly loudly telling us, but we dont listen.
they want to collapse the west
more specifically the usa. they then will divy up the public lands/resources/power sources/sources of income amongst themselves like the russian oligarchs
but further.
each area/city/zone will be turned into a fiefdom
like a giant HOA, but more evil. your actions/movements/habits monitored. ejection/banishment, with no right to travel between fiefdoms to secure other work. your pay will be in a sort of scrip
bitcoin or some such that is only accepted in your area.
they want to depopulate. they have discussed how efficient climate change is in this regard. that is why everything must be coal, oil, natural gas, forest destruction , etc.
when they have essentialy emptied the rural areas, those areas will essentially become populated by what are commonly called man camps in the oil fields
rows and rows of portable buildings, always ready to be moved to the next worksite, manned by desperate and hungry serfs.
trump is intent on making this happen. so intent he must use/deplete all possible defenses against true foreign aggression in places like Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, et al
this is all an effort to unilaterally disarm us.
i dont know
what do you think? they have wanted this for SO long
your land, your money, your freedoms
our public riches
for their idea of Elysium
you are the slave, you are the chattel, you are a resource to be exploited.
that is what we are up against. if we dont focus on the enemies end-goals, we tend to misidentify the tactics and strategies.
ok
rant over.

(22,877 posts)I follow the one absolute truth that has been proven repeatedly:
The oligarchs are not omnipotent, and the people are not powerless.

(5,395 posts)Sounds exactly like what Yarvin proposes. Yarvin is the Court Philosopher for many of the techno oligarchs. Very scary stuff, especially knowing that these crazy ideas may indeed be floating around in the brains of many rich and powerful technocrats.

(23,562 posts)In his blog Unqualified Reservations, which he wrote from 2007 to 2014, and in his later newsletter Gray Mirror, which he started in 2020, he argues that American democracy is a failed experiment[10] that should be replaced by an accountable monarchy, similar to the governance structure of corporations.[11] In 2002, Yarvin began work on a personal software project that eventually became the Urbit networked computing platform. In 2013, he co-founded the company Tlon to oversee the Urbit project and helped lead it until 2019.[12] He made a return to the company in 2024, described as having a "wartime C.E.O." role.[13]
Yarvin has been described as a "neo-reactionary", "neo-monarchist" and "neo-feudalist" who "sees liberalism as creating a Matrix-like totalitarian system, and who wants to replace American democracy with a sort of techno-monarchy".[14][15][16][17] He has defended the institution of slavery, and has suggested that certain races may be more naturally inclined toward servitude than others.[3][18] He has argued that whites have inherently higher IQs than black people,[18] and opposes U.S. civil rights programs.[19]
Yarvin has influenced some prominent Silicon Valley investors and Republican politicians. Political strategist Steve Bannon has read and admired his work.[20] Vice President JD Vance "has cited Yarvin as an influence himself".[21][22][8] Michael Anton, the State Department Director of Policy Planning during Trump's second presidency, has also discussed Yarvin's ideas.[2] In January 2025, Yarvin attended a Trump inaugural gala in Washington; Politico reported he was "an informal guest of honor" due to his "outsize influence over the Trumpian right".[23]

Hoe and till our land until you fall exhausted. Then you will replenish our soils.
Funny how extreme capitalism seems very similar to communism as practiced by putin/xi. The in-crowd gets the spoils.

(223 posts)A.I. and humanoid robots will replace almost all jobs which humans do. At that point will we become just 8 billion useless air breathers to the Barons?
Maybe those Georgia Guidestones foretold something after all:
Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature.
Maybe that's their ultimate goal.
