USA Sends Doomsday Plane E-6B Mercury to Middle East

https://militarnyi.com/en/news/usa-doomsday-plane-e-6b-mercury-middle-east/
Legit? I think so..

The USA has deployed the E-6B Mercury airborne command post to the Middle East, often called the ‘Doomsday plane.’

Bankingnews reported about this on March 5, referencing OSINT analysts who monitor military aircraft movements.

The aircraft serves as a command center and facilitates communication with strategic nuclear submarines.

It is equipped with a system for transmitting launch codes for intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads.

Additionally, due to its specialized communication systems, the E-6B Mercury can maintain command over nuclear forces even if the ground-based command infrastructure is destroyed.

The flight of such a specialized aircraft toward the Middle East became known on March 4.

In the event of nuclear escalation, the E-6B Mercury aircraft ensure that U.S. military forces can receive confirmed orders to launch nuclear missiles from submarines, silo-based launchers, and bombers.

The U.S. Navy received its first upgraded E-6B Mercury aircraft from Northrop Grumman in early June 2023.

The upgrade is aimed at improving the aircraft’s internal equipment and communication systems.

The exact role of this American aircraft in the ongoing U.S. and Israeli military operation against Iran is currently unknown.

Previously, media reports indicated that the U.S. plans to conduct a military operation against Iran for at least 100 days, potentially until September.

This suggests the seriousness and scale of the planned actions in the region.

I'm not the only person who's said the demented idiot in the White House shouldn't be allowed anywhere near the BIG RED Nuke button.
Things are not looking good. Impeach, convict and remove Trump from office before he blows up the whole damned planet.

Then the U.S. is a rogue nation and the rest of the world might have to respond accordingly. Why, because we will have shown the world that we no longer control our government and that Trump is a dictator free to do as we pleases.

deployed for the purpose of keeping com available and redundant. It does a lot more than just pass on nuclear launch commands.
This deploy could be just as a proactive backup measure, or possibly a result of areas having had some regional satcom stuff disabled from earlier drone attacks. I can't imagine a need to start launching Tridents at Iran

Even so, the fact that they are concerned enough about command being completely cut off to feel that this countermeasure is required should tell us that we have far more severe problems stemming from Iran's responses than what the cakewalk that the Trump regime expected would have merited.

Certainly not as a doomsday craft, that they would keep flying somewhere safe over the continental US, not near a war zone.
It can send the launch codes from anywhere so it certainly wouldn't be somewhere dangerous.

Seems our land-based local resources have a non-zero chance of becoming breakfast for drones. It would make sense to deploy airborne command facilities for what can't be done without a relay from Tampa.

Kegsbreath and his Faux buddies got fixated on that soft core Russian Rambo knock-off movie they love to use snippets of to show what a real Anti-Woke Army is.
But they're just playacting being a military with the same politically corrupt kids up leadership attitude the modern Russian armies are failing at war with.
They're all wandering around like little wanna be street gang kids whose idea of what manly "warriors" are is is shaped by video games.

Call of Duty isn't real life.
