1. There was never really anything to win. It's a waste of blood, treasure, and world standing.

I'm not sure hypersonic missiles are something to be afraid of unless their targeting can pinpoint a carrier. They can't be intercepted, but at this point, Iran isn't capable of intercepting anything we throw at them, either.
