...yesterday the markets bounced back after Trump declared his destabilizing war was 'complete,' and then backtracked after the markets closed.
Today...

The past 30 minutes have been wild.
US Energy Secretary Chris Wright posted that a US Ship had officially gone through the Strait of Hormuz.
Markets loved it, oil tanked, the idea that war was coming to an end started to have some legitimacy.
Then, he deleted the tweet, which got markets to think things aren't actually going well.
Now, Karoline Levitt confirms that a US Ship has NOT gone through the Strait and oil is now pumping again:

Deleted tweet from energy secretary sends oil markets on another wild ride
A plunge in oil prices intensified in the early afternoon after Energy Secretary Chris Wright said on X that The U.S. Navy successfully escorted an oil tanker through the Strait of Hormuz to ensure oil remains flowing to global markets. The prospect of a prolonged energy shock momentarily dimmed. Futures for oil, diesel and gasoline slid. Stocks jumped.
But the message vanished within minutes, leaving investors the world over struggling to see through the fog of war emanating from the Trump administration itself.
A video clip was deleted from Secretary Wrights official X account after it was determined to be incorrectly captioned by Department of Energy staff, an agency spokesperson said. The administration is reviewing other options to resume tanker traffic, the spokesperson added, including the potential for our Navy to escort tankers.
The since-deleted post was enough to wipe out million-dollar trades. Benchmark U.S. crude futures plunged by as much as 19% at one point. During a roughly 10-minute span when Wrights post appeared, an exchange-traded fund linked to oil futures saw $84 million of its market capitalization evaporate.

Jennifer Griffin, the chief national security correspondent for Fox News, directly contradicted Wright's post.
"This is not true, I am told from well placed military sources," she wrote on X. "No US military assets have escorted any oil tankers through the Strait of Hormuz as of yet, despite Energy Secretary Chris Wrights claim to the contrary.
Wright's post briefly drew attention to what appeared to be escalating operations by the U.S. military to counter Iran's disruption of oil prices.
The cost for oil skyrocketed to more than $100 a barrel, its highest point since the summer following Russias invasion of Ukraine. The increase translated to higher prices for gas in the U.S., with average national prices reaching $3.50 as of Tuesday.

____The U.S. announced plans to escort tankers through the Strait last week, though it had not provided details or a timeline for the effort. Administration officials, including Wright, had indicated that military assets were tied up at the time taking out Irans offensive capabilities.
President Donald Trump said Monday that the Navy was prepared to launch the escorts, but he did not expect them to be necessary.
Joint Chiefs Chair Gen. Dan Caine also indicated in a Tuesday morning briefing that military officials had yet to finalize plans for the escorts.
If tasked to escort, well look at the range of options to set the military conditions to be able to do that, and then, like we always do with every potential mission, come to the secretary and the president with both, what are the resources required, what is the command and control required, and what are the risks, and how do we mitigate those risks? Caine said.

...can this administration and military be believed on ANYTHING they claim?
U.S. Central Command @CENTCOM
U.S. forces eliminated multiple Iranian naval vessels, March 10, including 16 minelayers near the Strait of Hormuz.

Of course, those moneyed interests are the ONLY thing animating Trump to think twice about his military marauding.
