Massive damage reported from Oklahoma to Indiana yesterday and into early this morning.

So far no one has been killed, but several injured. Hail as large as grapefruit, heavy rains, lightning and large tornadoes in Lake Village, Ind. Kankakee County, Illinois was also badly affected. Iowa City, Ia reported heavy rains and flooding also large hail. These are just some of the reports that have been released.

I just wonder with Trump’s revenge fury war, what are people going to do without FEMA and other relief funds? Just this week alone horrific damage from tornadoes, hail storms, floods and wildfires is going to cost millions.

Thanks GOBers who didn’t vote for this, but you voted for Droopy! I just hope that your vote isn’t going to hurt someone who needs any type of relief from these horrible things? If it affects your life? Well, your vote is worthless if you voted for this corrupt administration!

first of all, prayers.

Beef here, besides basically defunding FEMA, the GQP took away the subsides for ACA. Healthcare for millions is not affordable. Medicare, Medicaid, Medi-Cal are being destroyed slowly.

according to some studies, hail is getting larger and larger due to climate change.

There is a size, grapefruit might just be that size, where areas subject to such hail become too dangerous to live in... our structures are simply not built to survive such hail, the damage to vehicles and animals and to crops and trees is simply too much.

I've seen large hail before in Kansas... but softball or grapefruit???

Major storms whipped up tornadoes in parts of Illinois and Indiana that leveled homes, killing at least two people and injuring others, and another round of rain, hail and strong winds made its way through the region Wednesday, authorities said.

Several intense supercell thunderstorms moved across northern Illinois and northwestern Indiana on Tuesday, including one supercell responsible for at least four tornadoes, according to the National Weather Service office in Chicago.

“Please do not come here. Do not try to help right now,” Newton County Sheriff Shannon Cothran said in a video update in front of what looked to be a destroyed home in the small northwestern Indiana community of Lake Village.

A tornado struck a home, killing an elderly couple, Newton County Coroner Scott McCord said in a news release. Their names were not released.

...of a tornado on the ground in NW Indiana.
Really wide & short and the debris trapped in it was clearly visible.
Thankfully it was in farm country.
There a community near Kankakee that had a touch down and obliterated several homes.
This morning they were reporting 6,500 households without power.
One big hit to our south & east, and golf ball sized hail north & west. We got maybe a half-inch of rain. We happened to be located in a good, safe locale last night.
