First off, he's not "announcing" anything, because the Brownsville refinery deal was made in 2024, under Biden. All that's happened is that the company that originally secured the rights to build it sold those rights to Reliance.
Second, it's not 300 billion dollars. It's more like..3 billion. Even if it's the biggest refinery in the history of the world, you're looking at 25-30.
Third, it's not a win for American workers, because Reliance is an Indian company that is going to staff the refinery...with Indians. On H1B visas.
