But I do know it would disenfranchise many voters from both parties. This is what Republicans have been doing since I have been politically aware - constantly trying to make it harder to vote.

than for Democrats, while single women vote even more strongly for Democrats...

(and conservative women are more likely to take their husband's last name than more liberal women---
which inserts the problem of the 'birth certificate name' being different than the 'current name'
which could lead to difficulties in voting---)


If Trump and his Republican cronies were actually able to push this bill through,
it could end up hurting THEM more than Democrats, on the 'prove your US citizenship' issue---
(they really ARE morons who can't see the consequences of their actions)


Regardless, I oppose it. Every US citizen should be able to vote,
without having to jump through a bunch of needless 'new hoops'....
