John Fetterman is doing better with Republicans, according to recent polls, than democrats.

Overall approval around 46% approval and 40% disapproval in Pennsylvania. Very strong support among Republicans, around 73%, and falling support among Democratic voters, especially progressives.

If his popularity stays high with moderates and Republicans, and weaker with Democrats, he could face the same dilemma as Joe Manchin or Kyrsten Sinema had, considering an independent run 2028.

Wouldn't actually be surprised if he choose to run as Republican.
