Reading the news on this war. 140 wounded 7 K.I.A. 108 returned to duty.

Old man dyslexic bad punctuation ramble warning. My heart bleeds for our dead and wounded and their families.
A memory in reading this morning about our dead and wounded. It was probably 1972 i was in the first grade and this girl that sat next to me would at times break down and cry.
The reason for her grief was that her father was killed in Vietnam. And the teachers would go and get this girls older brother. Who was in our elementary school also so he could comfort his sister.
Just thinking of her this morning reading the news remembering her.
Another memory i used to push her on the merry go round at recess. Or I’d take those huge green pencils we used back then. And I’d put those pencils in my nose and imitate a walrus to try to get her to laugh .
I have no other memory of her after that grade maybe they moved I’m not sure yet she came into my head this morning.
And I’ll say this again i was lucky my time in service was all peaceful i never take my time in seriously i was young kid i volunteered.
And the only major loss i remember in my time in service was Gander.
Yet i do remember sitting in mess hall reading the Stars and Stripes December 1985 going down the list. Two hundred and fifty six men from the 502nd burned alive.
I was searching the list of names for anyone i may have know out of Benning either O.S.U.T. Infantry or jump school after the 101st Gander accident.

Yet this morning I’m thinking of the thirty two people with severe injuries and of our seven killed in action this shit gets to me.
MAGA caused this every day for ten years these degenerates go through life blindly causing heart ache and pain for others.

The no new wars crowd we now see twisting their brains to support this war these people are insufferable. And they have no idea how much they are hated i detest these parasites for the misery they have caused and the turmoil to come.

... like embarrassments. Bringing them home with no fanfare, no acknowledgement. Like machines that broke down and failed. Giving us nothing but statistics about how many broke down, how many were put back online, how many are still in repair, how many are broken beyond repair.

I'm waiting for TACO to refer to them as losers and suckers.

I can barely contain my anger at the callous remarks and the sickening indifference Trump displays toward our troops and the danger they are in. Trump talks about killing people while beating his five-deferment chest. A soulless coward, a deranged bully.

I think of my late Vietnam Vet sweetheart and his horrible, Agent Orange death. I know what he would say about Trump’s lack of concern for the consequences of war his policies. Sacrifice is a foreign concept to Trump.
